 Mark Tilsen, the police liaison of native and environmental rights activists from Standing Rock, North Dakota, negotiate the release of over 22 arrested activists with an officer of Cass County Sheriff's Department.  The officer did not identify herself except by badge number 3455.  Over 22 people were arrested that day near Job Site 118 in St. Anthony, North Dakota, including actress Shailene Woodley. According to Tilsen, many of the arrested were wrongfully detained. Oct. 10, 2016

According to the Greek Helsinki Monitor (GHM) and Minority Rights Group – Greece (MRG-G), there are between  200,000 to 300,000 Romanis within Greece  as of 1999. In its  2014 annual report , the National Commission For Human Rights of the Hellenic Republic states that access to clean water is crucial to the health and wellbeing of Romani children. The report also suggests that "many houses do not even have the infrastructure required for water and sanitation, whilst entire settlements have been left without access to water due to water supply problems."
